Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Procurement to manage assigned commodities and lead supplier negotiations to support production. Create PO packages with cost analyses and coordinate supplier selections for strategic sourcing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of procurement in an ERP-driven environment; APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus. This on-site role supports Millersville, MD or Anaheim, CA with a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years purchasing in ERP-driven manufacturing environment.
• Proven negotiation experience.
• Contract knowledge and terms familiarity.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Understanding of engineering documentation and product configuration.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a digital/remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Procure and manage assigned commodities to enable production; issue and maintain purchase orders.
• Create PO packages with required documentation (Price Analysis, Justification, PPV, etc.).
• Lead supplier negotiations and supplier selection processes.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and manage material costs.
• Manage supplier relationships and implement base strategies.
• Resolve supplier issues including non-conformances and invoicing; ensure service levels.
• Train and coach procurement agents.
• Support marketing requests by running price models for material costs.
• Maintain inventory integrity in the MRP database.
