Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-7+ years of procurement or related experience.
• Oil & Gas, Energy, or Engineering industry experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook; knowledge of ShareFile and Aconex is a plus.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and document control tasks.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials with focus on best price, quality and availability.
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bids, and review requisitions.
• Interview vendor reps and keep up with current vendors.
• Research and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors on defects or corrective actions.
• Maintain and update costs tracking and project materials status.
• Maintain electronic records of purchases, deliveries, and inventories.
• Perform document control and log maintenance.
• Support project goals with a client- and project-friendly focus.
