Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to elevate procurement operations within the paper industry. You will manage procurement activities, analyze reports, develop RFPs in Ariba, craft and amend master agreements in Icertis, and negotiate deals with suppliers.

You will back up the Purchasing Manager and team, driving efficiency and cost savings while ensuring governance and compliance across procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis is required.
• Familiarity with Service and Construction contracts.
• Proficient in the Purchasing function of an ERP system (JDE).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Be a Dynamic Team Member and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Run and analyze reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Own key reports and assign follow-up actions to Purchasing and Storeroom leads.
• Develop RFPs using Ariba and coordinate with stakeholders for requirements.
• Write and amend Master and Sub-agreements in Icertis.
• Negotiate with suppliers while delivering cost savings and value.
• Convert requisitions to Purchase Orders accurately and timely.
• Lead problem-solving and drive continuous improvement.
