Job Description:

A world-renowned consulting firm that is advancing the future of technology in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill their remote Senior Procurement Specialist role in McLean, VA. You will be part of an expanding team and tasked with providing procurement support, including pre- and post-award procurement requirements within the direct purchasing team.

Senior Procurement Specialist Must Have Requirements:

• REQUIRED: Only looking for candidates with Government Contracting background
• 7+ years of experience with strategic procurement and contract negotiations
• 7+ years of experience with procurements in support of government defense contracting, while complying with DFAR and FAR flow downs
• 7+ years of experience with cradle to grave procurement lifecycle
• 7+ years of experience with US DoD Prime Contracts
• Willing to work East Coast hours (EST)
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field

Senior Procurement Specialist Responsibilities:

• Research and negotiate major organizational contracts and procurements
• Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge
• Work independently and mentor and supervise team members
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
