Job summary
Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development for product hardware across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage BOMs, NPI procurement, and CAPEX.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in electronics/ mechanical sourcing and NPI.
- Experience designing/developing electronics/mechanical devices.
- Advanced sourcing including commodity management.
- Early supplier engagement before requirements realization.
- Value/Procurement engineering or TCO work at component/product level.
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume environments.
- BS engineering; U.S. Person status required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier selection leveraging approved supplier list.
- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
- Scope concepts, run trade-off analyses and should-cost models.
- Consolidate manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing for ramp.
- Own NPI component procurement on-time and correctly.
- Manage CAPEX throughout NPI.
- Value-stream mapping to reduce lead times and increase flexibility.
- Complete vendor component qualifications ahead of production.
- Reduce complexity through commonality and supplier rationalization.
- Lead cost engineering to optimize total cost of ownership.
