Job summary

DEEP in the United States seeks an experienced procurement and project management leader to drive our subsea habitat programs. You will own projects from requirements capture to on-time delivery, coordinating with engineering, suppliers and stakeholders across a fast-paced startup environment.

The role emphasizes FAR compliance, supplier onboarding, competitive bidding, and risk management to protect DEEP’s interests while delivering complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement projects from supplier identification through on-time delivery.
• Ensure FAR compliance and proper flow-down to suppliers and sub-tier vendors.
• Identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers to meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee tendering, contracting, and negotiation to protect DEEP's interests.
• Manage supplier performance, risks, and continuous improvement.
• Interface with engineering to define statements of work for competitive tender.
