Job summary

NWS is seeking a highly organized, analytical Procurement Support Supervisor to join our growing Operations team. You will oversee daily procurement operations, lead a team of Procurement Specialists, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive performance and continuous improvement across the function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related operational experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with ERP, procurement, purchasing, or inventory management systems.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Procurement Specialists to ensure effective performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and accurate execution of purchasing activities.
• Monitor purchase order creation, order tracking, supplier follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Review procurement activities for accuracy, efficiency, and service-level performance.
• Escalate significant supplier concerns, operational risks, or procurement issues to leadership.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement team.
• Partner with internal departments to identify procurement needs and priorities.
• Serve as a liaison between Procurement Specialists, stakeholders, and procurement leadership.
