Job summary

System One is seeking a Procurement Manager in Orangeburg, NY to lead the procurement team, plan materials sourcing, and ensure inventory availability for production. This direct-hire, onsite role requires strong leadership and strategic negotiation capabilities.

The candidate will oversee supplier audits, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing to optimize procurement performance and cost. FDA familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA required for procurement leadership roles.
• Minimum 7 years of materials management experience; MBA preferred.
• At least 4+ years of managerial experience with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement procurement activities for materials, parts, components, and equipment.
• Direct buyers and expediters to achieve company objectives.
• Ensure material availability and optimal inventory levels in the supply chain.
