Job summary
SIG Group is seeking a Procurement Manager in Illinois to lead the procurement team, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure on-time, cost-effective material supply for production. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- 6–10 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
- 3–5 years of people leadership experience.
- Fluent English is required; basic to intermediate Spanish is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, coach, and develop the procurement team for production materials.
- Ensure purchase orders are created, approved, and delivered on time.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement, inventory levels, and replenishment.
- Identify and mitigate material shortages and supply risks.
- Lead supplier negotiations to optimize pricing and terms.
- Develop strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sourcing strategies.
