Job summary

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline required.
• Four or more years of directly related procurement experience.
• Knowledge of government regulations and FAA considerations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manages Division purchases of raw materials, supplies, equipment or services.
• Identifies material requirements from production specs and schedules.
• Determines cost-efficient and reliable materials for manufacturing.
• Establishes supplier criteria based on price, quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Promotes strategic suppliers and negotiates with suppliers as needed.
• Ensures purchasing strategy uses local and group strategic suppliers.
• Develops continuous improvement with suppliers on quality, delivery and price.
• Maintains automated re-order procedures and contingency programs.
