Job summary

MANTECH in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior Procurement Analyst to support critical logistics and procurement operations, maintaining equipment accountability and driving process improvements in line with customer standards. You will manage procurement purchases, review quotes, create DD250 and DD1149 forms for equipment transfers, and support SAP-based asset tracking and reporting.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, travel up to 25% within the continental U.S., and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of logistics experience, preferably supporting the U.S. Government.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with logistics regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with vendor/customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate procurement purchases, track warranties, and create or reconcile purchase requests and orders.
• Review and approve quotes, create DD250 and DD1149 forms for equipment transfers, and assist Engineering with data gathering.
• Manage and control government property, ensuring 100% inventory tracking in SAP.
• Create, update, and implement procurement SOPs detailing asset management, warranty, and inventory control.
• Conduct periodic inventory sampling, handle shipping/receiving, and address audit findings.
• Maintain accounting of government property transfers and update material tracking databases.
