Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Sr. Manager, Procurement to lead a defined spend portfolio and shape category strategies for capital projects. You will drive supplier partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize value and performance.

Based in Deer Park, TX or Wickliffe, OH, this on-site role requires delivering sustainable procurement outcomes within a global, matrixed organization and leading with ethics and discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of procurement, sourcing, category management, or commercial experience.
• Ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and deliver measurable value.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial skills including cost modeling and TCO analysis.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a global matrixed environment.
• Experience with supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and procurement governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for capital investments and engineering projects.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Project Management, and Finance to support planning and execution.
• Lead negotiations and establish commercial agreements for capital projects.
• Drive total cost of ownership, value engineering, and lifecycle cost optimization.
• Manage supplier performance through governance routines and scorecards.
