Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation seeks a Sr. Manager, Procurement to lead strategic sourcing for capital projects and engineering spend.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and external partners to plan, source, and execute supplier agreements while optimizing total cost of ownership. The role emphasizes cross-functional influence, risk management, and delivering measurable procurement value in a global, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of progressive procurement/sourcing experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial skills.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a global environment.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for capital investments and manufacturing infrastructure.
• Lead sourcing activities for capital equipment, engineering services, and construction contracts.
• Negotiate commercial terms and drive total cost of ownership improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage governance across programs.
• Partner with Legal and risk stakeholders to secure appropriate terms and protections.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship where applicable.
