Zusammenfassung

General Dynamics Land Systems seeks an experienced procurement and program-management professional to manage all affairs between GDLS and suppliers/subcontractors for varied types of subcontracts and purchase orders, including fixed price and cost-reimbursement.

You will solicit, analyze costs, negotiate terms, prepare and administer POs and subcontracts, and coordinate Source Selection while ensuring compliance with procurement laws and scope of work.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a business area; Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 10+ years experience in a similar procurement/contract management role.
• Experience with cost and price analysis and write-ups.
• Ability to negotiate contracts.
• Occasional domestic travel; possible international travel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong program management skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and internet applications is helpful.

Aufgaben

• Solicitation/Preparation of RFPs and RFQs.
• Cost analysis of proposals.
• Proposal negotiations, including cost, terms and conditions, payment terms, and scope of work.
• Purchase order and subcontract preparation, placement, and administration/monitoring.
• Ensure compliance to requirements/scope of work.
• Interpret drawings and determine completeness of scope.
• Serve as Program Manager between supplier and GDLS functional departments.
• Preparation and negotiation of ISA's, non-disclosure agreements, terms and conditions, and master service agreements.
• Coordinate Source Selection process.
• Ensure GDLS compliance with applicable procurement laws and regulations.
• Expedite material to meet plant and engineering needs.
• Work as a team member and mentor colleagues.
• Develop new suppliers and present to senior leadership.
