Job summary

HelloFresh in Berlin is seeking an Associate Director, Procurement to own strategy, performance, and people development for a category cluster. This 12-month fixed-term role leads a team of Category Managers and acts as the senior escalation point on procurement challenges.

You will shape supplier relationships, drive cost optimization, and connect day-to-day work to the broader supply chain strategy while building capability and governance across the function.

Qualifications

• 7+ to 9+ years in strategic procurement, supply chain, or related commercial discipline.
• Demonstrated track record building supplier relationships at a strategic level, including contract negotiation and governance.
• Experience defining and executing category strategy across a meaningful portfolio and leading a team.
• Proven ability to lead and develop others, through mentoring or formal leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi-year category strategy for your cluster and present to Director-level stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end tender processes and manage supplier relationships and governance.
• Take full commercial accountability for cost performance, savings targets, and CO-GS variance with data-driven decisions.
• Lead and develop a high-performance team of Category Managers and drive continuous improvement.
