Job summary

Energy Dome S.p.A. in Boulder is seeking a Senior Buyer to own end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes for critical project categories, drive sourcing strategies, and lead complex supplier negotiations in the renewable energy and energy storage sector.

You will collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risks, optimize costs, and support large-scale project deployment. This role requires ~15–25% travel for supplier engagements and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 6–8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, contract management, or supply chain operations, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or energy sectors.
• Demonstrated success in independently drafting, negotiating, and executing complex commercial contracts and MSAs.
• Advanced ERP proficiency and procurement automation tools.
• Strong analytical capabilities with advanced data analysis and Excel/BI skills.
• Proven track record in procurement within project-based or capital-intensive environments.
• Ability to articulate and resolve complex challenges using structured frameworks (STAR).
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle for critical project categories; develop and execute RFPs/RFQs, drive bid evaluations, and architect high-value supplier contracts.
• Serve as the strategic escalation point for key suppliers; conduct business reviews, monitor KPIs, mitigate risks, and drive supplier improvement.
• Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Legal, and Finance to align procurement strategies with project milestones and budgets.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, warranties, and SLAs with legal input to minimize risk.
• Conduct total cost of ownership analyses, monitor market trends, and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
• Drive procurement process improvements and maintain ERP audit readiness.
• Advanced price negotiation and cost reduction; strategic sourcing and competitive bidding.
• Contract drafting and risk management; cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
• Financial acumen and TCO analysis; data-driven market intelligence.
• Project management and timeline execution; problem-solving and change management.
• Executive communication and presentation skills.
