Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Procurement Manager, Major Projects, to lead procurement integration for large transmission capital projects. You will partner across Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls to deliver an integrated procurement plan aligned with project milestones.

You will monitor supplier capacity, manage procurement dashboards, and escalate risks while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternative: Associate's degree with 10+ years in procurement or related area.
• High School Diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated procurement leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary procurement liaison for major projects and coordinate with project leaders.
• Develop and drive the integrated project procurement plan aligned to milestones.
• Translate project schedules into coordinated procurement, sourcing, contracting, and material plans.
• Maintain dashboards and risk registers for milestones, supplier capacity, and commercial issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Engineering, and Construction.
