Job summary

AEP in Ohio seeks a Procurement Manager, Major Projects, to partner with project teams on major transmission capital initiatives. You will lead procurement integration across materials, equipment, services, construction, supplier capacity and contracting activities to support on-time delivery.

You will develop the integrated procurement plan, monitor milestones, manage dashboards and risk registers, and escalate issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Associate's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; or
High School Diploma/GED with 12+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary procurement liaison for assigned major projects and coordinate with project leadership.
Develop and maintain the integrated project procurement plan aligned with milestones.
Translate project schedules into coordinated procurement, sourcing, contracting, and material plans.
Maintain procurement dashboards and risk registers with milestones, supplier capacity, and issues.
Coordinate cross-functional execution across Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls.
Communicate procurement readiness, risks, and decisions to project leadership.
Leverage analytics and continuous improvement to enhance sourcing and contract visibility.
