Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Revises, clarifies, or develops purchasing policies, procedures, practices and guidelines for staff.
• Reviews outgoing correspondence drafted by staff.
• Serves as a technical resource to procurement staff to ensure compliance with Procurement Code and related rules.
• Conducts periodic reviews of departmental procurement practices and recommends revisions.
• Conducts audits of schools and offices to evaluate compliance with procurement policies.
• Investigates complaints from requisitioners and vendors and reports findings.
