Job summary

Qualifications

• The selected candidate must meet State Entry Qualifications including a degree or diploma and years of procurement experience.
• Agency specific qualifications include ethical conduct, strong communication, analytical decision-making, and contract awareness.
• Two years of experience in a professional procurement role at a Georgia public agency or public college/university.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the Department of Transportation (GDOT) contract functions and perform spend analysis.
• Support development, implementation, and administration of Agency Contracts for commodities and/or services.
• Monitor vendor performance against contract obligations and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors on contractual matters and provide consultation and technical assistance.
• Maintain contract databases and ensure compliance with procurement rules and regulations.
