Job summary

The Oregon Department of Justice is seeking a Senior Contracting Officer (PSR3) to lead procurement activities within the Administrative Services Division. You will review requests, apply federal and state laws, and mentor others while supporting hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities include contract development, negotiations, interagency agreements, and compliance with funding sources. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years procurement and contract experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years relevant experience, or any equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provides input to planning, coordinating, contracting, and procurement.
• Procures goods and services using competitive methods (RFPs/IFBs/IRs/Intergovernmental/Interagency).
• Develops contracts translating needs into written terms and bid specs.
• Documents changes and prepares addenda to bids.
• Ensures procurement/contracts comply with laws and policy.
• Evaluates bids and conducts bid evaluations with customers; selects awards.
