Job Description

BAE Systems, Combat Mission Systems, is actively seeking an experienced Supply Chain Professional to join the Indirect Procurement Organization.

You will procure specialized materials, equipment, supplies, and services based on program-specific requirements and specifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for the complete acquisition lifecycle: analyzing purchase requisitions, initiating RFQs/RFPs, reviewing bids, selecting vendors, negotiating terms and conditions, and pricing of materials or services to be procured, and issuing/managing subsequent purchase orders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, support, and execute sourcing strategies, including development of savings
• Develop new and manage existing supplier relationships
• Lead formal negotiations
• Execute Long Term Agreements/Blanket Agreements
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice/payment issues to ensure prompt payment and avoid delays
• Coordinate with Receiving departments to resolve receipt issues
• Maintain communication with suppliers during procurement process
• Work closely with management and procurement personnel, as well as cross-functionally with other departments
• Prepare reports and documentation
• Perform effectively and independently

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe PDF
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills
• Superior communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Federal Contracting Experience
• Advanced degrees and/or certifications: CPSM, CPM, CIPS, or CFCM

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $73,778 - $125,422

Please note: This range is based on market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
