Job summary

Byrne is seeking a Processing Technology Manager in Cortland, NY, to lead planning, directing, and coordinating the work for ESL, Aseptic, and new technology pasteurization systems. You will drive preventative maintenance programs, equipment rebuilds, and technical investigations to improve reliability and performance.

Responsibilities include leading troubleshooting, overseeing PMs and rebuilds, developing maintenance tasks, and ensuring root-cause analyses are completed with the Maintenance

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ processing experience; ESL/Aseptic experience preferred.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers, instruments and controls required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in troubleshooting and RCA events to drive improvements.
• Oversee maintenance of ESL, Aseptic, and new technologies to increase productivity.
• Coordinate PMs, rebuilds and improvements with the processing operations team.
• Develop and upgrade PM systems for processing equipment and support devices.
• Address mechanical malfunctions to maintain productivity and assist operators.
• Develop preventative and predictive maintenance tasks and monitor completion.
• Ensure root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
