Job summary

Dart Container seeks a maintenance technician to coordinate and perform setup, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of production equipment. You will read drawings, interpret bills of material, and assist in calibrations and repairs to keep machines running at peak efficiency.

The role requires experience with hand tools and safety/GMP practices, with opportunities to collaborate with engineers to improve cycle time, yield, and product quality across production lines.

Qualifications

• Requires one of the following: Associate’s degree with 3 years of manufacturing equipment and processes experience OR High school diploma with 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency with powered and manual hand tools (soldering iron, multimeter, wrench, hammer, screwdriver).
• Math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings (manuals, schematics).
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the setup, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Read drawings and BOMs to support calibration, inspection, and repair activities.
• Provide technical support to engineers to improve cycle-time, yield, and quality.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to improve equipment and processes.
• Lead or participate in process failure investigations and implement fixes.
