Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Senior Process Specialist for 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00am–3:30pm) in Sedalia, MO. The role focuses on developing quality processes and driving quality improvements to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead quality initiatives, monitor audits, and train staff across plant operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Good computer knowledge and competency with applicable software.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision.
• Good understanding of quality control and quality assurance principles.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience and ability in using measuring equipment.

Senior Process Specialist - 1st shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm, $26.66 hourly

Position Summary

The Senior Process Specialist - QA position is responsible for proficient knowledge and task execution in their designated department. Their primary goal is to develop quality processes and drive quality improvement to deliver exceptional customer experience.

Essential Functions

• Lead efforts to improve product quality as assigned by product, supplier and/or customer.
• Monitor customer feedback and take appropriate action for specific instances and trends. Communicate as needed with customers and suppliers.
• Monitor plant quality, including performance of audits and inspections as needed.
• If required, manage supplier quality
• Develop training materials as needed, including SOPs and video-based materials.
• Perform quality training at all plant organizational levels
• If required, manage document control system
• Maintain quality standards of finished products.
• Knowledge of mathematics and statistics to assist in the teaching of print reading and measuring.
• Knowledge of parts fit and function.
• To be successful in this job an individual must be able to perform each function effectively.
• Additional responsibilities include good housekeeping and other assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
• Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
• The employee shall be able to work overtime as requested and posted by management.
