Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a Safety professional to develop, implement, and audit Process Safety Management programs for pipeline operations. You will lead hazard assessments, coordinate with Operations, E&C, and corporate teams, and drive risk reduction across projects.

The role requires strong communication skills, experience with OSHA PSM, and the ability to train and mentor teams while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years in oil & gas, with risk assessment and hazard management experience.
• Experience in technical safety and process safety tools/techniques.
• Good working knowledge of OSHA PSM regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the process hazards assessment and lead hazard review investigations.
• Manage the PSM process for pipeline operations, E&C and corporate teams.
• Assess projects with Operations and Project Managers to ensure compliance from design through life cycle.
• Prepare sites for internal and corporate Process Safety inspections.
• Identify and document risk reduction strategies and lead assessments.
