Job summary

MAU Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Project Engineer/Manager for our client in Blacksburg, SC. The role leads capital and improvement projects to support safety, quality, and environmental objectives in a chemical manufacturing facility.

This is a direct-hire opportunity. Responsibilities include managing scopes, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams; ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards; and delivering projects from design through startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering as listed.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience in chemical/industrial manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing capital projects from design through startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital, infrastructure, process improvement, and reliability projects from conception through completion.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate engineering design, procurement, contractor management, and commissioning.
• Prepare project status reports for site leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and company practices.
