Job summary

FiunEx is seeking a Senior Process Project Engineer to drive manufacturing process improvements for transformer production in the USA. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage CAPEX projects, and coordinate equipment installation, commissioning and start-up to improve throughput and reduce costs.

Ideal candidates have deep experience in process and manufacturing engineering within industrial settings, strong Lean/Six Sigma background and proven project-management skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in process/manufacturing/project engineering in industrial manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, technical problem-solving and project-management skills.
• Independently manage projects while leading cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on with manufacturing processes, equipment implementation and process improvement.
• Understanding of transformer manufacturing processes and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing and process engineering projects from initiation through completion with scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Apply structured project-management practices across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and close-out.
• Develop project documentation including charters, CERs, plans, budgets and risk registers.
• Coordinate design, procurement, installation, commissioning and qualification of equipment and systems.
• Support process development across transformer manufacturing operations and related tests.
• Identify constraints and drive improvements to throughput, scrap reduction and costs.
• Support FAT, SAT and production start-up activities for new or modified equipment.
• Ensure change-control and project documentation is maintained.
