Job summary

M.D. STAINLESS SERVICES, INC. in Southern California seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead industrial process piping projects from award through completion.

You will manage budgets, schedules, field operations, and client relationships, coordinating procurement and change orders as needed. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of industrial piping experience and 5+ years in project management, with stainless steel system familiarity and strong budgeting/scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial or process piping experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with stainless steel process piping systems.
• Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage process piping projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and manpower plans.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate field operations.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and client relationships.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project scope requirements.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and profitability.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support commissioning, startup, turnover packages, and project closeout.
• Provide leadership to project engineers, superintendents, and field personnel.
