Job summary

IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC seeks a Lead Piping Designer for its Process Piping Department. This role can be based out of any U.S. office locations (MA, NJ, PA, MD, NC, KS, CA).

The candidate will design piping systems for GMP processes, prepare 3D models and 2D layouts, and coordinate with vendors and other disciplines. Travel 5–20% may be required, with field site visits as needed. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of design experience, maintains expertise in piping design software,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of previous design experience.
• Technical or Associate Degree from an accredited technical institution or college in mechanical engineering design areas.
• Proven experience with Piping Design software.
• Experience with generating Piping Iso drawing production.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on conceptual and detailed design projects as assigned by a Project Manager or Director.
• Prepare piping and equipment arrangement drawings in 3D models and 2D layouts.
• Produce Piping Plans, Equipment Layout, Section Layout, section views, and other 2D drawings for deliverables and take-offs.
• Coordinate design work with related engineering disciplines to resolve clashes and apply comments.
• Contribute to annual performance reviews for assigned staff, if applicable, and act as a resource for developmental support.
