Job summary

IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC is seeking a Lead Piping Designer to join its Process Piping Department. This role can be based out of any U.S.

office locations (MA, NJ, PA, MD, NC, KS, CA) and requires strong leadership in piping design and 3D/2D deliverables. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of piping design experience, a technical or associate degree in mechanical engineering design, and proficiency with piping design software and Iso drawing production.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of piping design experience.
• Technical or Associate Degree in mechanical engineering design.
• Proven experience with piping design software and delivering Iso drawings.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on conceptual and detailed design projects as assigned by a Project Manager or Director.
• Prepare piping plans and equipment layouts in 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients and other design disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure design intent.
• Develop material take-offs and ensure document quality and coordination.
• Assist in annual performance reviews for assigned staff where applicable.
