Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a highly experienced Lead Piping Designer to join the Process Piping Department. This role can be based in any U.S. office locations (MA, NJ, PA, MD, NC, KS, CA).

The candidate will lead piping design efforts, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and deliver 2D and 3D drawings for GMP facilities. Responsibilities include independent project work, design coordination, and preparation of piping plans and equipment layouts, with travel up to 5-20% as

Qualifications

• 15+ years of piping design experience.
• Technical or Associate Degree in mechanical engineering design.
• Proven experience with piping design software.
• Experience with generating piping iso drawing production.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on conceptual and detailed design projects as assigned by a Project Manager or Director.
• Coordinate design work with related engineering disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure documents reflect design intent.
• Prepare piping and equipment arrangement drawings in 3D models and 2D layouts.
• Produce Piping Plans, Equipment Layout, and 2D drawings for deliverables; perform material take-offs.
