Job summary
The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Process Mechanical Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for large food and beverage manufacturing projects. You will analyze drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to produce detailed takeoffs for mechanical systems and process equipment.
The role requires experience estimating process scopes, reading complex documents, and using Beck Destini Estimator and FastPIPE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years estimating experience in construction, preferably in food & beverage.
- Experience reading mechanical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop project budgets and bid proposals.
- Perform risk assessments and identify cost or schedule impacts.
- Support value engineering to optimize cost and performance.
- Produce accurate quantity takeoffs for mechanical systems and process equipment.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals for alignment with project needs.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages with pricing and risk assessments.
- Assist handoff to preconstruction and project teams.
