AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. in Bothell, WA, seeks an experienced Senior Process Mechanical Engineer, Power, to lead design for combined cycle power plants and related facilities. You will model systems, size equipment, develop PIDs, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), ABET-accredited degree, and 10+ years in power generation. You will guide vendors, review submittals, and ensure safety and compliance with ASME, NFPA, API standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license preferred.
• 10+ years in power generation or industrial facilities.
• Experience with energy design services and project execution.
• Experience preparing PID/equipment specifications and mechanical design deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering design for combined cycle and simple cycle power systems.
• Lead mechanical engineering team to meet quality, technical, and schedule goals.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, clients, and vendors for project success.
• Prepare calculations, schematics, and design deliverables with clear assumptions.
• Develop equipment specs for pumps, exchangers, vessels, compressors, boilers, and cooling.
