AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Process and Mechanical Drafter in Bothell, WA to join the Power and Industrial Engineering Group. You will prepare GAs, PFDs, and P&IDs, and perform drafting using AutoCAD and Plant 3D as well as Revit, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires a 2-year mechanical degree and 10+ years in engineering design, with a strong grasp of drafting standards and document control. Collaboration with multiple disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in mechanical discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in an engineering design firm.
• Experience with power plant design is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards and document control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare General Arrangements (GAs), PFDs, and P&IDs under the direction of the process engineer.
• Draft using AutoCAD 2D, Plant 3D, or Revit per project requirements.
• Utilize plant 3D toolset and catalog piping, valves, and instrumentation information.
• Check vendor and other discipline drawings against designed work.
• Mentor and guide other drafters/designers on interface requirements.
• Collaborate with Instrumentation and Electrical groups and work autonomously or as a team.
