Qualificações

• PhD (with 3+ years) or Masters (with 5+ years) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or related field is required.
• Hands-on experience with optical bench/system setup and maintenance is preferred.
• Comprehensive hands-on expertise in III-V compound semiconductor wafer processing, including lithography, etching, deposition, implantation, and diffusion
• Proficiency in Excel VBA macros, LabVIEW, and either C++, Visual Basic, or Matlab, with statistical analysis in JMP or Minitab
• Experience with MES, PMS/QMS, and change management; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate processing steps to create process flows for III-V based laser chips (Edge Emitting Lasers, VCSELs).
• Develop new process modules for high-volume manufacturing and ensure robustness.
• Design, build, setup and improve custom tools for optical table setups (mechanical, optical, control automation).
• Serve as process expert for chips and support daily production with real-time issue resolution.
• Lead chip failure analysis to identify root causes and drive yield improvements.
• Perform statistical data analysis and apply Six Sigma methods to reduce defects and variation.
• Collaborate with foundry team to meet fab yield targets and reduce cycle time.
• Deliver NPI projects on schedule per Gate Review timeline.
