Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Professional to analyze and measure the effectiveness of business processes and develop sustainable improvements. The role involves moderately to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of data and benchmarks against industry best practices.

The position supports remote work from Kentucky with occasional travel to Louisville and other Humana offices. A Master’s in social work or related field plus relevant experience is required, with RN or LSW

Qualifications

Master's degree in social work or related health and human services with 1 year professional case management experience.
Licensed Professional (LSW) in Kentucky or ability to obtain.
Licensed Registered Nurse in Kentucky or ability to obtain RN with 1 year case management experience.
3+ years of technical experience in re-engineering process improvements and root-cause analysis.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels.
Experience writing new process initiatives with proven results.

Responsibilities

Collects and analyzes process data to initiate and recommend improvements for safety, productivity, and cost.
Determine how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes.
May specialize in benchmarking, process analysis, change management, and process-driven systems requirements.
Influence department strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues with minimal direction.
Exercise substantial latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
