Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN seeks a Process Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring aseptic processing, filling and packaging meet timelines and budgets. You will drive capital projects, equipment design, validation activities and SOP creation, reporting to the Director, Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years in aseptic manufacturing and 5 years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, leadership, and direction to engineering staff.
• Hire, coach, and conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
• Manage a team supporting aseptic processing, filling and packaging equipment.
• Oversee budgets, capital projects, and process optimization.
• Ensure master change control and validation protocols compliance.
• Apply Lean principles to deliver on scope, time, safety, and budget.
