Job summary

Evonik Tippecanoe Labs seeks a Process Engineering Manager to lead a team of process engineers and deliver safer, more reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. You will drive process improvements, optimize equipment, and manage capital projects while ensuring adherence to cGMP and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, customers, and cross-functional teams to meet site objectives, improve cycle times, and enhance equipment availability, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; 10 years chemical/pharmaceutical engineering manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience across multiple production facilities with different scales and technology platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead capital projects and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of process engineers with coaching, workload management, and performance development.
• Drive productivity and continuous improvement to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Lead capital projects up to $15 million USD ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and operability.
• Partner with manufacturing, customers, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.
