Job summary

McDermott International seeks a senior Process Engineer Lead in Houston to spearhead complex process design efforts across FEED and detailed design phases. You will mentor engineers, manage budgets, and ensure safe, cost-effective delivery of major projects.

You will communicate complex technical solutions to engineers and non-engineers, coord inating with multi-discipline teams and external stakeholders to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
• 15–20 years of experience in oil and gas with major contractor or consultant
• Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of design techniques, standards, codes and guidelines
• Strong project coordination and execution skills

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED and detailed analyses and design per design basis and standards
• Lead discipline engineering design of assigned work area with schedule and budget adherence
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure clash-free designs
• Provide technical direction and review of designers producing process-related products
• Lead and mentor engineers, manage time and resources, and participate in safety studies
