Job summary

VVater LLC, based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a senior Process Engineer to be the technical owner of treatment system designs. You will translate customer water quality targets and regulatory requirements into complete plant designs, including PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and equipment specs.

This onsite role moves at a fast pace: designs come in quickly, deadlines are real, and you will travel to commissioning sites for startup and validation.

Qualifications

• PE license preferred in Texas or willingness to obtain.
• 7+ years hands-on water/wastewater process engineering.
• Experience with DPR/IPR and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater systems from influent to finished water across multiple applications.
• Produce PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, hydraulic calculations.
• Lead commissioning, SAT, and performance validation.
• Collaborate with municipal engineers, consultants, and end users.
• Develop design narratives and technical proposals to win deals.
