Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Jessup, MD to support cross-program coordination and standardize systems engineering processes within the Cyber Mission business unit. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and is performed at a customer location on a full-time basis.

You will collaborate across programs, develop and improve processes, and support agile requirements management using Jira and Confluence, contributing to national security missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education required; four years of additional process improvement experience may substitute for a Bachelor's.
• Fifteen (15) years of experience with process improvement on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; five years in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across acquisition phases.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-program coordination and technical collaboration to reduce integration risk and standardize systems engineering processes.
• Coordinate activities to assess program management planning, execution, and reporting across projects including requirements, software, sustainment, and advanced technology initiatives.
• Assist with operating in an agile development process as it pertains to requirements management, including using Jira and Confluence.
• Develop new processes as needed, ensuring they are reliable, repeatable, and sustainable.
• Document and improve existing processes and create Standard Operating Procedures for each project type.
