Job summary

Element Solutions, including MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing with strong SPC oversight. You will reduce defects, improve yields, and drive cost improvements under the Engineering Manager. This is a hands-on role supporting batch operations and scale-up efforts.

You will collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and EHS, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the MAES Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of related experience in process engineering.
• Over 3 years in chemical synthesis, preferably in batch operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor processes and oversee SPC activities for critical processes.
• Daily production quality and cycle time monitoring.
• Identify root causes for out-of-control products and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) and drive corrective actions.
• Write and modify Work Instructions for existing products.
• Support pilot-to-full-scale manufacturing transitions with validation and training.
• Lead process engineering related capital projects.
