Job summary

Stantec Buildings is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the design and delivery of process and utility systems for semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, and other industrial facility projects.

The ideal candidate has strong technical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to guide teams through complex project execution, design documentation, construction support, and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience with process systems in semiconductor, petrochemical, biopharmaceutical, or similar industries.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain PE within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of process and utility systems for semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, and other industrial facility projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight throughout project phases, from concept development and design through construction and project closeout.
• Develop and oversee engineering deliverables, including design packages, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and support high-quality, client-focused project outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and project partners to deliver innovative and efficient facility designs.
• Guide process engineering teams through project execution, resource planning, staff development, and technical growth.
