Job summary

Stantec Buildings is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the design and delivery of process and utility systems for semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, and other industrial facility projects. This role provides technical leadership across project phases and guides teams through design, construction, and client coordination.

The ideal candidate has strong technical judgment, exceptional communication, and the ability to drive complex projects with clear documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience with process systems in semiconductor, petrochemical, biopharmaceutical, or similar industries.
• Experience leading process engineering deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project delivery from design through construction preferred.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain PE within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of process and utility systems for semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, and other industrial facility projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight throughout project phases, from concept development and design through construction and project closeout.
• Develop and oversee engineering deliverables, including design packages, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and support high-quality, client-focused project outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and project partners to deliver innovative and efficient facility designs.
