Job summary

UCT in Fremont, CA is seeking a Process Engineer III to lead site-level engineering activities, including process development, equipment design, and yield optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate has a minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering and 4+ years in high-technology manufacturing, preferably semiconductor capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or related fields.
• 4+ years in high-technology manufacturing, preferably semiconductor capital equipment.
• Master’s degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates or leads in tactical process development at local site for new capabilities and yield improvement.
• Applying the principles of mass, momentum, and heat transfer to process and equipment design.
• Supporting the conversion of small-scale processes into large-scale operations.
• Develops large NPI projects and new equipment installs by applying customer expertise.
• Serves as technical lead for local site by guiding peers.
• Works with Sales to interface with the customer for new and existing business activities.
• Collaborates with Operations and Sales to deploy engineering solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Proven experience in Kaizen concepts, Lean Manufacturing.
