Job summary
Specialty Resins in Pasadena, TX is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee production, maintenance, and safety initiatives. The role covers process control, recipe scaling from lab to commercial, and driving environmental and safety compliance across the plant.
The ideal candidate holds a BS in Chemical/Process Engineering with 8–12 years in chemical manufacturing, and has experience with polymers. Strong problem solving and teamwork are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Process Engineering required.
- 8–12 years of chemical manufacturing experience.
- Experience with polymer production highly preferred.
- Strong problem solving and written communication.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering functions for production, maintenance, safety, and HSE objectives.
- Oversee DCS, adjust recipes from lab to full scale.
- Support capital projects and plant reliability improvements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and safety programs.
