Job summary

Langham Recruitment in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Process Engineer to translate R&D into reliable, production-ready manufacturing processes for advanced materials. You will own process control and data analysis, leading DOE, FMEA, and monitoring to scale high-volume production safely and efficiently.

You’ll partner with Engineering and Operations to resolve bottlenecks, improve throughput, and ensure product quality across thermal interface materials while maintaining rigorous documentation and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science required.
• Experience developing chemical processes and continuous manufacturing.
• Hands-on hazard analyses and engineering controls.
• Strong data acquisition and sensing technologies knowledge.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize chemical and materials processes for commercial production.
• Deliver Release-to-Manufacturing milestones and support scaling.
• Develop and execute DOE to improve process understanding and stability.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and eliminate variation.
• Identify, select, and implement instrumentation, controls, and monitoring systems.
• Lead equipment design or modification projects with internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve workflows.
• Lead Process FMEA activities for new manufacturing processes.
• Maintain safety, organization, and documentation standards.
• Apply 6S principles across production equipment and workstations.
• Thrive in startup environments, embracing change and continuous improvements.
