Job summary

Montauk Renewables is seeking a Process Engineer in Turkey, NC to support existing operations and new development projects. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and equipment specifications while driving process improvements and startup activities.

You will lead teams, mentor engineers, and work across disciplines to maximize RNG or electricity production in line with site goals. Travel up to 25–50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years engineering and leadership experience in a related environment.
• Graduate degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop heat and material balance, and Process Flow Diagram.
• Specify equipment and develop Piping & Instrument Diagram.
• Develop manufacturing costs and scale-up field data.
• Carry out process improvement at existing facilities.
• Assist with SOPs, training material, and plant startup checks.
