Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Process Engineer to join remotely from Oak Ridge, TN. You will analyze, develop and optimize industrial processes for nuclear and commercial projects, collaborating with multi‑discipline teams to ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform design calculations, select equipment like pumps and piping, and document design media while advancing project schedules and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience; nuclear industry experience preferred.
• PE license preferred; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and improve industrial processes for nuclear and commercial projects.
• Design mechanical components and system designs; collaborate with production teams and quality control.
• Perform calculations and document compliance with codes; mentor junior engineers as needed.
